Works like this: Reply to this meme by yelling "Words!" and I will give you five words that remind me of you. Then post them in your IJ and explain what they mean to you.
I can't guarantee I can give decent words.
I shouted words at the lovely Chart, who gave me the following...
Bristol.
I'm from a small town somewhere in the vicinity of Bristol. This means I went to school with people exactly like Vicky Pollard, which wasn't the most fun.
Bristol (and surrounding area) is the place of the Wurzels (I've seen 'em live twice), Casualty (until they move it to Cardiff, that is) ... but most importantly pirates and seamen.
John Cabot and the Matthew, Blackbeard ... that little slave trade thing we don't talk about. Treasure Island features Bristol (and a dodgy pub, nothing's changed). That's got to be a good thing!
Sketch.
Um ... I suppose this is because I like to draw. I only really started with the HP fanart after I came to uni (too much time sitting on my own in my room in halls and not owning a computer). First half-way decent one I can think of is a scene from GoF, with Voldemort and Harry in the graveyard (and, typically for me, with dead!Cedric poking out from behind a gravestone).
Though, having been going through a lot of my old school books/uni notes in my parents' bid to sort out the loft I've been doodling when I was meant to be paying attention. My uni notes are works of art, some of them. Mostly Performance Practice ... which is not a surprise.
Uni.
I actually graduated two years ago now, you know. But I'm not exactly grown-up now, am I, so student-style is still good for me. I had beans on toast for tea this evening and everything.
It probably doesn't help that I still hang out with students - one particular student society, the Cardiff University Harry Potter Society, which started back just this week with the committee performing 'The Mysterious Ticking Noise' to show the ickle firsties exactly what they've let themselves in for. And which part did yours truly bag? Snape, Snape, Severus Snape.
Giggle.
Do I do that a lot or something? *g*
I spend a lot of time in the company of girls who also enjoy a giggle. There're three of us watching Strictly at the moment and there's a lot of giggling. Oh boy, is there. Joe Calzaghe just danced.
Sex.
... interesting, Chart, how you associate me with something I've never done.
Having a fun evening. Saturday night telly is fecking fabulous at the moment. Hole in the Wall (Anton du Beke presiding over barely-disguised-homoeroticism between silver-lycra-clad Austin Healey and Joe Swash), Merlin (seriously, Morgana, a good colour for wandering around forests is bright red? Also, WTF giant scorpions?) and Strictly Come Dancing (in which I am clearly going to lose our sweepstake...).
Fests? What fests?
