Works like this: Reply to this meme by yelling "Words!" and I will give you five words that remind me of you. Then post them in your IJ and explain what they mean to you.

I can't guarantee I can give decent words.

I shouted words at the lovely Chart, who gave me the following...

Bristol.
I'm from a small town somewhere in the vicinity of Bristol. This means I went to school with people exactly like Vicky Pollard, which wasn't the most fun.
Bristol (and surrounding area) is the place of the Wurzels (I've seen 'em live twice), Casualty (until they move it to Cardiff, that is) ... but most importantly pirates and seamen.
John Cabot and the Matthew, Blackbeard ... that little slave trade thing we don't talk about. Treasure Island features Bristol (and a dodgy pub, nothing's changed). That's got to be a good thing!

Sketch.
Um ... I suppose this is because I like to draw. I only really started with the HP fanart after I came to uni (too much time sitting on my own in my room in halls and not owning a computer). First half-way decent one I can think of is a scene from GoF, with Voldemort and Harry in the graveyard (and, typically for me, with dead!Cedric poking out from behind a gravestone).
Though, having been going through a lot of my old school books/uni notes in my parents' bid to sort out the loft I've been doodling when I was meant to be paying attention. My uni notes are works of art, some of them. Mostly Performance Practice ... which is not a surprise.

Uni.
I actually graduated two years ago now, you know. But I'm not exactly grown-up now, am I, so student-style is still good for me. I had beans on toast for tea this evening and everything.
It probably doesn't help that I still hang out with students - one particular student society, the Cardiff University Harry Potter Society, which started back just this week with the committee performing 'The Mysterious Ticking Noise' to show the ickle firsties exactly what they've let themselves in for. And which part did yours truly bag? Snape, Snape, Severus Snape.

Giggle.
Do I do that a lot or something? *g*
I spend a lot of time in the company of girls who also enjoy a giggle. There're three of us watching Strictly at the moment and there's a lot of giggling. Oh boy, is there. Joe Calzaghe just danced.

Sex.
... interesting, Chart, how you associate me with something I've never done.

Having a fun evening. Saturday night telly is fecking fabulous at the moment. Hole in the Wall (Anton du Beke presiding over barely-disguised-homoeroticism between silver-lycra-clad Austin Healey and Joe Swash), Merlin (seriously, Morgana, a good colour for wandering around forests is bright red? Also, WTF giant scorpions?) and Strictly Come Dancing (in which I am clearly going to lose our sweepstake...).

Fests? What fests?

*squeezes you big time*

You see, I'm intrigued by Bristol; to me it's Banksy, Brunel & James May. I've only been once, and fell in love with the SS Great Britain and the Clifton Suspension Bridge. Although I am going there again in March to see Derren again. :)

OK, I imagine you with a sketchpad always on your lap, always drawing stuff. I even imagine you planning out your fic or essays by doing little storyboards. It's the frustrated artist in me that is so fascinated by people who have artistic talent.

Nah, you'll always be a student! Some of us just are. fuck it, i'm *ahem* years old, and I still insist on dressing as though I'm an undergrad. Anyway, with the HP Soc, there's no reason to want to grow up! :D

Yes. Yes you do. Luxuriant hair and an infectious giggle. That's Skitty. You're the kind of person it is impossible to be miserable or grumpy around.

Aww, well that's a surprise. You're gorgeous, and fun and enthusiastic and squeezable and write good sex (Ok, it might be M/M, but pft!) so...
I blame this obsession with Saturday night telly! Nobody ever got laid by watching campy old TV shows... oh wait... yes they did. But that's another story.

Thanks for doing my words! Now...
GET BACK TO THOSE FESTS! :D

Bristol's never been quite the same since it lost the Exploratory. Nothing like a giant guitar to make kids want to learn.

I've been known to draw for revision purposes. Makes stuff easier to remember. For instance, I can still remember vague details about the murder of Matteoti that we covered in sixth form because I wrote (and illustrated) a little story called 'Mussolini and Noddy'...

*lols* A surprise? I do often wonder how I come across to people. The number of people who've asked others whether I'm a lesbian ... (though prancing round Ikea earlier with my mate Jen, hugging every now and then probably didn't entirely help...)

Fests? I feel I should point out that my snapelyholidays is pretty much done already. I have an amount of words for severusbigbang. I have notes for Severus/Lucius. I have ... a few odd notes for Snusa.
But instead of doing those I'm going to watch X Factor and sort through my dressing up clothes. Ah well.

Just so you know ... I've just written the last two pages of my Severus/Lucius thing.
Haven't done the rest yet but the ending's all wrapped up. :) I'm sure that's a sensible way to go about things.
*giggles*
Because it's such a sensible piece anyway...

Well, I'm relieved to hear that. Good girl!
*pats*

Now, off you go to enjoy a bit more pseudo!lesbian!ikea!hugging action.

... before we call you back for your dinner some Snusa work. :)
